Jacksonville City Administrator Paul Wyntergreen said the protest was peaceful until a few people started pushing police. Police reacted by firing pepperballs, which he described as projectiles like a paintball filled with cayenne pepper. Two people were arrested for failing to disperse. There were no reports of injuries.
Nice piece of propaganda there.
The President wasn't even there yet. And the "goons" were the state and local police. Now I won't make a personal judgment for/against the police/protesters because I don't know all the facts (how very un-Kerry of me), but if you push the police surely you'd expect them to push back.

I think we can all agree (could it be possible) that this has nothing to do with the President.

SWAT are trained to react, and follow orders unquestioned. It sounds to me to be overzelous police reacting to what may or may not have been an incident. But none of us have the facts.

The GOP can't help themselves, even with kids:

GOP criticizes student get-out-the-vote campaign

If joining in democracy by helping to get people to vote is not educational, then I don't know what is. But I suppose that because they are students in a school that they are part of a liberal agenda...
