Study: Terrorists support Kerry

Quote:

Leaders and supporters of the anti-U.S. insurgency say their attacks in recent weeks have a clear objective: The greater the violence, the greater the chances that President Bush will be defeated on Tuesday and the Americans will go home.
"If the U.S. Army suffered numerous humiliating losses, [Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John] Kerry would emerge as the superman of the American people," said Mohammad Amin Bashar, a leader of the Muslim Scholars Association, a hard-line clerical group that vocally supports the resistance.
Let's all try to use logic here... If terrorists are trying to keep bush from getting elected again, it's becuase they want Kerry to win. Why would a terrorist want Kerry to be president?

First off, let's stop mis-characterising the 'insurgents' as 'terrorists.' When you're on your home turf trying to repel an invading/occupying force, you're not a terrorist. But you would feel pretty silly writing "freedom fighters support Kerry" wouldn't you?

Now that I've (hopefully) set you straight on that account, maybe these people think they have a better chance for a peaceful existence, ie less shock-and-awe, with Kerry at the helm. And you know what - they're right.

Ouch!

So the Iraqi terrorists / insurgents would prefer that Bush loses. But the real enemy, the one that slaughtered more than 3,000 American citizens, holds a different view.

So a Jordanian terrorist in Iraq killing innocent Iraqi men, women, and children, as well Iraqi troops and police, as well as any westerner they can find (surely you see the pattern-they really don't give 2 *****s who they kill) should be properly labelled "freedom fighter". Strange and dark world you live in.
