ABCNEWS withheld portions of an alarming new al Qaeda videotape which warns the next terror attack will dwarf 9/11 from the feds when they submitted the video for analysis, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.

"What took place on September 11 was but the opening salvo of the global war on America and that our Lord willing, the magnitude and ferocity of what is coming your way will make you forget all about September 11," the man, whose face is covered by a headdress, warns in the video. "After decades of American tyranny, now it's your turn to die."

ABCNEWS submitted portions of the video threat to the FBI and CIA on Monday for analysis, top government sources tell DRUDGE, after obtaining the tape from a source in Pakistan.

A top goverment source said from Washington that ABC withheld the final 15 minutes of the tape from the feds -- the portion of the tape where the man warns of retribution for Americans electing Bush and Cheney.

"The FBI did not see the last 15 mins," the source claims.

"You are guilty, guilty, guilty. You're as guilty as Bush and Cheney. You're as guilty as Rumsfeld and Ashcroft and Powell...," the man states.

He goes on to warn of an upcoming horror: "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead.

"People of America, that was the verdict now for the sentencing: as participants and partners in the crimes of the regime, you too shall pay the price for the blood that has been spilled."

One ABC source, who demanded anonymity, said Thursday morning, the network was struggling to find a correct journalistic "balance" before airing any story on the video.

I TOLD YOU ALL, terrorists support kerry, and this video proves it. ABC won't air the video, because they know that Bush is stronger in this area, and when people see it they will realize that the terrorists want Kerry.

Errr... the terrorists support Kerry, so they make a tape threatening terrorist action & release it just before the election? I think you did a pretty good job of shooting down your own theory" just there!

If Bush is "stronger in this area" then why would they release the tape days before the election if they "want Kerry"? It seems like if they "want Kerry" it would be directly in their interests to not release a terror-threat tape which, as you point out, plays right into Bush's hands.

I think if the terrorists weren't quite so dillusional, you'd be right, ubiq. I think they really believe that their video will scare people into not voting for Bush. They're in the business of terror... It wouldn't be very productive of them to think of us as brave men and women who will stand behind our strong leader.

Clearly they think this, becuase their plan worked in Spain. If it worked in Spain, why wouldn't it work here?

The reason it won't work here, is that Americans aren't cowards. We don't back down, and we don't let people push us around. Over the history of our country, we've liberated millioins and millions of people. We've ended wars. We've helped people suffering all over the world. We're good people.

Because the oposition party in Spain was running on a ticket to withdraw immediately from Iraq?

Because a VERY clear majority of the Spanish population was against the war?

Because I think the entire country, including ABC, and yourself agrees that a scare of another terrorist disaster or scare favors Bush, the incumbent, and especially if Kerry were promising an immediate withdrawal (which is clearly impossible & insane) Americans would not back away?

Because these guys in the video are not exactly clueless to the US political & cultural climate. For gawd's sake the orator sounds like he's from Orange County or something.

It just doesn't make any sense.
