I guess it begs the question where are all the bush supporters in an open community parade like the one we just saw.

No Bush supporter would be caught dead in such a freak show...LOL.

The guy who run this website is quite papthetic, going to all those rallyes to take puctures and then post thems with some conservatives comments.

I guess he is just documenting child abuse.

You don't think that is what they are teaching at the Berkeley parade?....they actually have a caricature of the president of the United States for children to punch.

Tolerance goes both ways. The Berkeley parade parodies and insults many...including more than one religion.

and stern only invited them onto the show to let the people see, what types of people this church represents. the GHF group showed up in manhattan to protest an all gay high school. HS also has an ex-grand pohbah from the KKK on periodically to point out racisim.

Even most conservatives don't support groups like that!....But apparently the liberals in the parade find their behavior common enough to hold an annual parade....and look at the turn out!...150HP930 says that things are similar among the libs where he hails from too....minus the nudity.

I am a conservative Christian, and I am offended that someone would say that God hates homosexuals.

While God may hate homosexuality, He loves the homosexual nonetheless. (God hates sin, but he loves the sinner).

According to the bible God hates lots of things...

God sounds like one of those flip floppers to me.

I love how they have a plaque celebrating "Matthew Shepards entry into hell" on their site. So I guess it's ok to violently kill homosexuals because god hates fags

We are chastised for having hate in our heart.

Hebrews 12:6-8
"For whom the Lord Loveth He chaseneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth."

We are commanded by Jesus as follows:
Mathew 28:19-20
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the earth."

The "all nations" part above includes everyone, including homosexuals.

Romans chapter 1 makes it pretty clear where God stands on homosexuality. We are still to try and reach them for Him.

That said,
I am not any better than anyone else out there. I am just saved by accepting Jesus. You can be, too if you want. It doesn't matter if you're a mass murderer, homosexual, Muslim, redneck, or any other label you want to name. None of us can meet God's standard of perfection. But He can meet it for us.

God plus 1 equals a majority.

The bible also has similar restrictions on touching the flesh of a pig.

I guess people who play football are as bad as homos in god's eyes so its a good thing he is a forgiver.

The restriction of the old laws was broken with the new covenent (Jesus Christ). Acts chapters 10-11 are explicit in the dietary law change.
Those restrictions were under the old covenent, before Jesus made his sacrifice for us under the new covenent. It was not deemed important enough by God to put it in the ten commandments. Kind of interesting when you think about it. They didn't know much about food preparation back then. The Lord's commands kept them from touching raw pork, made them wash often, and quarantined sick people. All good things to do to keep the tribe healthy.

Their sacrifice was tied in as well. Which part of the animal was to be burned as a sacrifice? The fat. So they were also on a limited fat diet.

Ok, a few thoughts...

God's not a flip-flopper - He just separates the bad from the person. If you have kids - they do bad stuff that anger you all the time. But that doesn't change your love for them. God's relationship with us is much the same.

The Bible says that homosexuality is sin. Does that make the homosexual worse off than a non-homosexual? No! WE ALL SIN - WE ALL ARE SINNERS. We just have different temptations to deal with. All sin is bad - no matter how small we think our 'little' sins are. Think of it this way: if you can't swim, does it matter if you're in 8 feet of water or 80 feet of water? No! You will eventually drown. The same is true with sin: it doesn't matter if it's a little sin or a 'big' sin - it is all the same in God's eyes, and all sin separates us from the love of God.

That said, there are varying degrees of consequences here on earth when it comes to sin. For example: if I speed on the highway, I'll get a ticket and pay a fine. If I kill a man, I'll go to jail and possibly be sentenced to death. BUT IN GOD's eyes: all of this sin is forgiven - the price is paid through Jesus Christ.

What does God think about Christians who hate homosexuals? I am sure He is saddened with his 'children' misinterpret the Bible like that. The Bible says many times to 'love our neighbors,' even to 'love our enemies.' Those "Christians against homosexuals" are not being very loving, IMHO.
