Tom Daschle Needs Our Help

Poor Tom. First he loses the Dem nomination for President and now he's out of work. For those who don't remember, Tom is the guy who characterizes people who work their asses off and become successful in this country as "winners of life's Lotto". Hmmmm ..... guess ol' Tom's Lotto numbers didn't come up last night.

So being the compassionate people we are, I think we need to find this poor sap a new job. I'm thinking undertaker would fit his demeanor fairly well. Any other suggestions?

He can always get a job as a lumber jack :D

His lost is a great way to Cap this Election.

Gee he lives in DC do you think he will move back to SD.

I dunno if it's possible to find a position wherein one could leverage his being "disappointed" -- w/o having to provide solutions.

Oh, wait.. maybe the NYT, WaPo or Globe has a senior editorial position available. Then he won't have to be accountable to ANYbody.

He'll probably become a professor, actually...

project935 11-03-2004 08:29 AM

His mail probably won't be nearly as interesting any more ...

Funny you should mention that; it seems he sold his home in SD, to become a DC resident, something that may have actually lost it for him, so now he's unemployed and soon to be homeless.

Actually my German Shepard has been really busy planting "Land Mines" in the back yard. I could really use some help to go on a mine sweep excursion.?? Think Ol Dash would be interested?

heheh :)

Curt, I think it was Dick Gephardt who coined the "winning of life's lottery" thing...However, as one who happens to believe in the 2nd amendment, I was delighted to see Daschle get the boot!
He'll probably remain "inside the beltway", become a "consulting firm" chief. (Translation...influence peddler)

I am glad Dashle is out. Too bad the voters weren't smart enough to get DeLay out as well.

Mule 11-03-2004 11:06 AM

Lurch has a new gig. Maybe Daschle can find one too.

Cegerer,

That quote was by Dick Gephart.

cegerer 11-03-2004 12:00 PM

Gephart .... Daschle ..... Kerry ..... Gore .... Kennedy .... et al ..... they're really all the same, aren't they? It's easy to get them confused!

pwd72s 11-03-2004 06:59 PM

'Sokay, Curt...I screwed up the spelling of "Senator Dick"...maybe. ;)

Shuie 11-03-2004 08:45 PM

There not all the same. Gephart will never let anyone forget that he is the only one of them who didnt vote for NAFTA. Other than that, they are all the same though :).

Lets make Tommy a "Will Work for Food" sign.
