To All of the Non Porsche Owning OT Posters

During the election, due to our emotions, a lot of things were said that probably shouldn't have been said. But now that the election is over, you will find that deep down inside, we are here because we are a family with a common interest of Porsches. I suggest you remember that before some of you continue with your personal attacks. The election is over and you might want to find another place to hang out.

I second that. I would still buy a valve adjustment tool from island in a minute. I still think he would sell me one. I hope that that the rest of the rabble rousers go back under the rocks they came out from under.

It will be nice to check the tech side 1st again and browse the OT for pics of chicks only.

Or, if you don't go away, you should take the following oath:

I do solemnly swear that Porsche is the best sports car company in the world. There is no substitute. While I do not have a Porsche today, I will seek to aquire one as soon as possible, even if it means the kids go hungry, and the wife leaves me...

Or something like that...

I didn't realize there was anything OTHER than hot Grid Girls in the OT forum ;)

I'd modify the oath slightly:

I do solemnly swear that Porsche was the best sports car company in the world, at least until 1998 rolled around and they sold their soul to the stockholders. Now they make trucks and Ford Contour look-alikes. While I do not have an aircooled Porsche today, I will seek to aquire one as soon as possible, even if it means the kids go hungry, and the wife leaves me...

Well, Blue -- good to see that things are back to "normal" already. Heh heh heh.

I'm with Blue on this one...If I ever won "the lottery of life", a Porsche dealership wouldn't be seeing my shadow darken their door. A FORD perhaps...but dunno if my huge old bod would fit in their GT...

Don't forget that Pelican also sells BMW parts and has BMW forums... Thats what brought me here... That said, i do love the lines of a clasic porsche...
i also agree with cbeers.. was there anything other than the grid girls and random pic threads over the last few months??

singpilot 11-03-2004 12:48 PM

I have taken to looking at the date the poster joined. RennList started kicking the rabble rousers out in Jan2004. It seemed like the worst ones here all joined on or AFTER that date.

911boost 11-03-2004 01:29 PM

yep.

Z-man 11-03-2004 01:31 PM

Forget Bush vs. Kerry --- it's time to bring back the

911 vs. 944 threads!

See you at the track!

Zing! WHOOOSH!!!

Hear that sound?!? It's the sound of a wasser pumper puttin' a 9-eleben to shame...

Loving YOU,
-Z.

CJFusco 11-03-2004 02:13 PM

or you can just do what i do

ignore the political threads.

After all, no liberal is going to convince any conservative to change their minds, and no conservative is going to convince any liberal to change their minds. So I just stay out of it.

That whooshing sound is the sound you hear just before your timing belt breaks. :D

Actually, I hear Superman and RedUFO voted for Bush. They came around after reading Cramer's and Slacker's convincing arguments. :p

EdT82SC 11-03-2004 04:14 PM

Why make them own a Porsche? As long as they make a purchase from PP then the ownership requirement can be waived. ;)

bluebullet 11-03-2004 05:39 PM

I hope someone goes in here and erases all the politcal posts and cleans it up. Honestly.....do any of you older porsche guys do anything else then spend your whole day arguing politcs? Its like trying to play SOCOM2. You play against some loser kid that has no life and plays it alll day long and whoops your ass at it. The point? it gets boring quickly.
