if it was not politics,, then what else?

i continue to check out the OT area just to see where the chunks of debris end up. my question is to most, can you remember your last contribution to a BBS tech thread? or has the election taken over all together for you.

here is a thread i went with just today. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/190468-7-all-around.html pelican serves me more so than just a political sounding board. can you claim the same?

do share, and detective BT, check the time of my post and you will see its the real deal. a technical question, not a 944 one i know but a porsche one none the less.

bryanthompson 11-03-2004 01:33 PM

do share, and detective BT

that's Inspector BT to you, bub.

Anything constructive of mine goes to the 944 board or to 914club.com.

Well, you kind of have me there. My last post on a 911 topic was 10/21 on Jack O's poor man ground effects thread http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=182467

Wait, on 10/29 looks like I said something about replacing a '88 3.2 dashcap. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/189711-replacing-dash.html

But I did more recently post about cameras in OT, if that counts.

juanbenae 11-03-2004 01:43 PM

yes john the camera thread counts.

wide i follow your posting in that area often. in fact i used your tech info and spring plate angle finder deal when doing my suspension rebuild. and i thank you again.

so put your posting where you mouth is BT. i did not specify model. just show us......

I'm signed up for the autox at Sears Point on the 14th. I guess I'm the only one from the local Pelican crowd that's going. I'd rather do a run down to Hollister but I've already paid my money, plus Sears Point is only 15 miles from my house. I can do the 13th though.

juanbenae 11-03-2004 02:09 PM

i am leaving on my lewis and clark of oregon and washington on the 19th.

actually i just got an idea,,,, how about the day after thanksgiving, or the sat after? the 1st annual "turkey run off" weather permiting of course.

Toby and Chris,
I'd be up for a drive sometime soon. Please keep me in the loop.

-Brad

PS
Since I'm on the OT area, and in response to Toby's new avatar text, I should add the following:
I'm in a blue state - but I voted red.

bluebullet 11-03-2004 04:24 PM

im the opposite..i hardly ever spend time on OT..but latley ive been itching to voice myself on all this political bull*****.

MichiganMat 11-03-2004 04:24 PM

juanbenae 11-04-2004 06:41 AM

Brad, Chris, you red voters are no longer welcome on a liberal sanctioned group run!

If you're working on your car and it's not ready for a run this weekend, you can ride with me but don't plan on taking pictures! You can also drive my SC if you like. I'll take wifey's car or leave you all in the dust in the FX! Trash talkin' from a guy who drives like a grandma.
