Discovery Channel... seriously...

I like the Discovery channel... usually. Any of their "extreme engineering" or investigative cool specials are awesome, for the first 45 minues (including commercials). Then they always go into this, "_____'s of today may look impressive, but in the future, (go to CGI picture of whatever it is) we'll see 60 story ___'s with quadruple the capacity, traveling 90 times the speed of sound..." you get the idea.

It drives me nuts! I just wanna see the cool stuff, not this futuristic BS!

Bryan,

I've noticed the same thing. All their shows look the same and are very shallow. I don't watch TV at all any more... everything's a commercial!

the history channel is a good one, if you like the interesting documentary stuff. and discovery wings too.

D-wings is great. History International is also very very good.

History is very important. It repeats itself, thus we can learn from it.

Really? It reduces friction while improving my gas milage? Wait that was Prolong. Or was Prolong the "dong" stuff. I'm all confused now.
