what a fantastic game.......video games have reached a new level with this one.
it is NOT a game for kids.
but thumbs up in my book.

I'm getting a Ps2 for Christmas I think! :) GT4 is on my list . I suppose this one has more of a storyline Bell?

Bell... amen!! I'm a big GTA fan and San Andreas is better than I had hoped! I'm only about 7% of the way through it, but it just gets better and better. I would say one of the best games I've ever played!

What a great environment - definitely NOT for the kids. The violence is supreme and random. The gangs are vicious and the whole map (friggin' huge) is so alive! You can talk to pedestrians, you can goto the barbers, get tattoos, outfit yourself in designer stuff, modify cars and more! (My Low-rider has the 10x Nitrous kit, which is crazy)

Bell, notice when your driving skill gets better, you don't get so much of the motion blurring at top speed? Very, very cool... and what other game can you get where you run around with your Desert Eagle skill at "Gangster"? :D

Have you tried two-player?? I did with a friend and we kicked butt! There's a hidden two-player icon/prize just north of Big-Smoke's house, in some ruins/rubble. Great fun!!

I can't wait for it to come out on PC, though. Apparently it's not due out until third quarter, 2005. :(

It's cool on my 52" TV and Pro-Logic system, but the graphics aren't as good as Vice City is on my PC (P4/3.06, 1gb RAM, 256mb FX5600 Ultra and 5.1 sound).

Look for my friend Guy Montag... he's the voice of a radio caller about halfway through the game.

i heard it was really good too..but i like to play it on PC....you can download cars and guns off the 'net and add them in.

I personally cant wait for GT4...

Sony has pissed me off about Gran Turismo 4 - it has been delayed more times than I care to count and now online play WILL NOT BE INCLUDED! Are you kidding me? An online version will be out next year - read marketing ploy.

I love my GTA San Andreas. Its suppost to take you something like 88hrs of playing time before you reach Vegas. Im still in the hood, defend my gang territory, doin drive by's, hope to make it to San Fran soon.

its quite an impressive game... the soundtrack is awesome, defending your hood while blasting Ice Cube..

Heh.. I played it for about 5 hrs last night. My girlfriend is getting pissed off! :D

The whole Denise thing I can't understand... I mean, you take her to dinner, make no progress. I figured she didn't think I was exciting enough, so I took her on a hellride date, high-speed, low-drag, bullets, explosions, cars flipping over and crashing into houses, basically like going on a date with Die Hard's John McLane...

I dropped her off at her place while I had 5 wanted stars and she still didn't give up the booty. WTF do you have to do?? :D

my understanding is that you can use the cheats and it WILL let you get to the end...unlike vice city.
