The ultimate latest album thread!!!
Ok so i wanna kno what the top 5 albums right now that your listening to. They dont have to be bought or *cough* downloaded in the past month or so, but that would help
Heres Mine 1-The Faint-Wet From Birth *Danceable electropop thats got a dirty beat" 2-The Fiery Furnaces-Blueberry "Epic Rock Opera that is a masterpiece" 3-The Postal Service-Give Up ""Death Cab" and "Dntel" team up for some hip electro-poppy emoish music that the ladies will croon over" 4-The Black Keys-Thick Freakness "Some Hardburning blues that is put out by two guys. The guitar just takes on the sound of the Stones and Hendrix and makes em blues. A album that will be loved by all classic rockers" 5-Death From Above 1979- Your're a Woman, I'm a machine "Again 2 guys one on drums, one on guitar, who lay down some good dirty riffed garage rock" OH and one more "The GO! Team" is what I want to make a trip to the supermarket seem like a clip from a crazy 70's car chase.

I've been listening to the entire discogrophy of Steely Dan and Jethro Tull ... 2 of my favorite bands..
I also listen to stuff like Slipknot, Tool, APC and such Wide variety As far as an album that I must listen to all the way through, every time I hear it is " Thick as a Brick " side 1 & 2 by Jethro Tull

OK Computer isnt recent, but its still one of the best albums ever made...
Amnesiac is quite amazing too... havent heard hail To The Theif yet.... any good? Interpol's Antics is VERY good William Shatner's Has Been is surpirsingly good as well.... kind of dark, yet insightful Last edited by rsvp914; 11-13-2004 at 10:11 PM.. |

#2-Ok Computer #3-Miles Davis-Kind of Blue #4-White Stripes-Elephant #5-Johnny Cash-The essential... Yes-Hail to the thief is very good, but my appreciation for it may stem from the fact that I love all of Radiohead's stuff and I saw the "Hail" concert last summer at Alpine Valley. Simply amazing. The Shatner thing creeps me out. I never wanted to here the OTS say "screw". The Uberpage of Shatnerology edit-oops-sorry, maybe not recent or hip Last edited by SLO-BOB; 11-14-2004 at 07:28 AM.. |

I'm still listening to the same Rolling Stones records I've been listening to for the last 25 years. I've added some live recordings to the collection too.
The Stones are the only music you need. ![]() |

Been a DCFC fan for a while but only just discovered Give Up by The Postal Service and it is the best thing I have heard in years.
