yeah, I was thinking the same thing. and you are absolutly correct; the rain in Spain may go down a drain.

. . .and pan a bunny wear a cake? ;)

nostatic 11-17-2004 10:54 AM

but if he's in new zealand, then the car is right side up, right?

it's about time we got to some substantive issues...

Pick up a copy of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Nazi Germany" it is an excellent entry-level primer on how Hitler came to power. I do concede that there were elections involved, but that is not nearly the extent of how he was able to attain his position.

Thanks for clearing that up, so there was elections and a political party. Thanks again.

substand issues !? . ..is toasted better than cold?

Amazing how humans give names to things which become so ingrained in "our" knowledge that we think they exist. Like a "down under" name for a segment of the globe which is not necessarily down or up and anything for that matter.

Goes back to when we thought the world was flat, I imagine.

BigD9146gt 11-17-2004 11:50 AM

Ya, like the north and south pole. who decided which is which? Then again, WHO CARES. It is the way it is to help some things in this world be consistant, something everyone might be able to grasp.Even you, 952, an "educated person", i would expect to have a little bit more smarts about. But street smarts is not whats taught in schools. Reading books and copying what the teacher does is what is taught in schools, so then one day we might be so lucky to reach reasoning on our own. The street smarts are those who survive, like the "freedom fighters". BUT, the "freedom fighters are ONLY street smarts, which does nothing for society, its like a bum on the corner begging. He is street smart because he knows which corner cashes out the best.

952 11-17-2004 11:54 AM

Not quite grasped the issue. What is north, what is south? These are only human names of things to describe something.

That has to be the biggest load of crap I have ever read... otherwise well done. How did you get to street beggers? lol Your point is lost in your own confusion. Entertaining though, had a good ole chuckle. Thanks.

952, I think this is your exit.

No, but I've read that New Zealanders do drive around the track counterclockwise. Might be just an urban legend, though. Like kidneys in the bathtub on ice. Either way, this discussion is going down the drain.

952 11-17-2004 12:28 PM

At the track I have raced at (Ruapuna), it was counterclockwise that day, but you can race either way around the circuit. makes it more interesting when you dont have lots of choice.

Mark, you are like a child to converse with, your ability and capacity to argue and debate is boring to me.

dd74 11-17-2004 12:36 PM

Darn it! Don't get me thinking about digging holes to China or the toilet swirling in the opposite direction "down under." I'll be preoccupied all afternoon.

That's cuz you don't debate so much as talk in circular rhetoric. People do that when they have no point, no logic, no reason, and are ignorant on the topic. You hit a grand slam.

Yaaaaaaaaaaawn

Just for kicks. Go and get examples where I have been talking in circular rhetoric. Be sure to point out each phase of the talk and how it completes the full circle.

hoff944 11-17-2004 01:04 PM

952 must have been on the DeVry Intsitute debate team where he went to college.SmileWavy Elitism at it's finest.

952 11-17-2004 01:13 PM

Yeah, asking for evidence of a claim against someone is pure elitism, disgusting really, how can someone seperate themselves from others in such a way... amazing really.

hoff944 11-17-2004 01:17 PM

Gag.......get over yourself. If someone doesn't want to waste the time on going back over pages of posts they will be intellectually inferior. Prove to me how it is disgusting. I want examples complete with research and data to back it up. Pie charts, bar graphs, the whole 9 yards.........or meters.

Mark Wilson 11-17-2004 01:20 PM

Your signiture is elitism at it's best. Not to mention boorish as hell.

Yes, but what if the "New Zealand" region was killing it's own people by the thousands, committing countless terrorist acts upon several countries around the globe, including murdering 3000+ innocent "Iraqis" via hijacked planes? Oh, and being a "New Zealand" citizen, you would be in fear of your life, and basically have no rights. Would you then still fight against "Iraq" for your terrorist country? Or would support the majority of "New Zealand" that wanted change, and supported "Iraq's" presence?

What would you acll folks who show the white flag to surrender and then when your guard is down...shoot you?

What do you call people who behead innocent civilians?

Insurgents? Freedom fighters? Heroes?....How sickening.

EXACTLY!
