Allen's B757 is the same. Nice looking but non-descript and just looks like a airliner with no advertisment on it. Inside its nice but nothing over the top. Have heard that he is a nice guy to work for and not like some of the "well to do" that we all have heard about.

As a one-time, would-be naval arch. geek, I agree w/ Cramer, though my opinion is not as severe. Allen's boat looks like there were three different design theories going on at once, and they weren't blended well. If you added 60' of parallel midbody right behind the bridge, it'd look better. Not "smooth", mind you, but the extra distance between the confused ultra-mo foredeck superstructure and the minesweeper fantail might soften the blow.

Nonetheless, I don't think it's "ugly" and it's an impressive engineering exercise to build one of those monstahs.

Hmmm..

Not a pretty sight.

Gotta agree with Overpaid...a little extra length would do not harm ( ) and help balance things out.

It the latest in the line of ' I have a hard looking functional boat' as opposed to the more florid baroque 'yacht' of the Onassis generation.

This is amongst the first of the 'military' boats. Built by the same guys as thise who built Octopus.
