Green Skulls: Kayak Fatality
Hey, any of you guys hear about the kayaker killed over the weekend on the Green River? He was the son of a guy I occasionally duck hunt with. He was a very experienced kayaker but apparently, these were some pretty treacherous waters. A real shame. Only 20 years old. He has a twin brother who survives him.

 That's worse than I imagined. His Dad used to tell me about some of the crazy ***** his son did but I never really gave it a second thought.

So sorry to hear this. I am concerned for the brother, (and the entire family of course), losing your twin is supposedly among the worst things that a human being can experience, if they were inseperable like most twins. It happened to a good friend of mine ~30 yrs. ago when we were teenagers, really sad. :(
At least he was doing something he loved, though. All of the most dangerous sports, like auto racing, skydiving and whitewater rafting/kayaking are ironically the most alive that you can feel while doing, IMO. |
The twins were opposites. Brian was the 'daredevil'. His twin is very cautious about everything he does. Their Dad is the nicest, most laid-back guy you'd ever meet.
