Selling a vintage piano

Any advice on selling and/or shipping a vintage baby grand piano? Ive got it on ebay right now, is there another online resource I could use.

I can find middle C on it and play the 'Dream On' intro, but thats the end of my piano knowledge. It must go.

TIA

What condition is it? Maybe a local piano store can sell it for you on consignment.

It's basically perfect. Im trying to sell it for a family member who had it fully restored last March.

The only game in town is the place who restored it. They have offered to buy it for what they charged for the restoration. This was after signing over a post restoration appraisal for more than twice that amount.

Very nice piece of hardware you have for sale. Steinways were the best in the USA during the 1940's and one of the best in the world.

Sherman, be prepared. Buying a high end piano is A LOT like buying a Porsche. This may well include a "tire kicking" and a PPI.

judging from the receipts I have for this unit, restoring a high end paino is certainly a lot like restoring a Porshce . Im not kidding. I dont think I have that much in my car yet.

You could put it on eBay and specify that it's a local pickup only...
