Too funny, Eric. I was thinking about older cartoons this morn...and wondering if others remembered them as well.

That said, I never heard of Chilly Willy and only get audio on your link.

Remember this one?

It's that feeling of being a kid again...I love all those old cartoons. I try to watch some of the new stuff now, and it's just not as good. I think we need to start a new cartoon channel that only shows the old stuff..with you hosting the show...I can see you laughing your arse off after the cartoon fades and there you are..suppose to be introducing the next cartoon, but instead rolling on the floor....

Too funny, we actually use old cartoon names as passwords where I work. They change every 30 days, and "chilly willy" was one of the more recent ones. Until then I hadn't thought about that character for YEARS!

Chilly Willy, Heckle and Jeckle, and Droopy were some of the funniest cartoons out there.

All classics

Eric - you're too young to remember Chilly Willy!? This will really date me, but I was going thru some of my old stuff at my parents house recently and found a ViewMaster with a Chilly Willy slide disk in it!

Cartoon Network Boomerang usually plays all the old stuff later into the night. I think it's to entertain the parents who are up with their kids more than the kids themselves.

Ask me how I know ...

E-man, I think I'm just a couple years older than you...and hell, I couldn't even speak English while we were watching those cartoons...it's a wonder I don't call Chilly...Sheely Weely (with a foreigh accent!)

P-935, The boys and I love watching Speed Racer on DVD. And Sometimes I'll just zone out with them in the morning when there is an old Tom and Jerry on.

951 Eric, I was going to mention Heckle and Jeckle! LOL!
