Any former or present day rodeo clowns here?

Just a thought - I'm fascinated by the whole rodeo clown thing and popular US culture in general.

Only genuine US rodeo clowns reply. Please. Just a "hands up" - is all.

NOOO!!! Not the clowns!! Not even Rodeo ones!

Ever since that day on an abandoned road in Pennslyvania...

There goes years of therapy down the drain...

-Z-man, must find a quiet, safe place....a happy place....a peacful, warm place... where I can whimper quietly

Have a very good friend who was a rodeo clown. Has broken most of the major bones in his body and lots of the little ones as a bronc rider, then moved on to being a clown. Still gets hurt but not as often.

Its a very dangerous sport... We both parachute for a hobby and I consider him somewhat crazy when he gets in with the bulls...

didn't Kiefer Sutherland get out of the Hollywood scene for a while and was on the professional bull-riding circuit for a few years?

I had a second grade teacher that was a rodeo clown in KS... I remember he broke many many bones, including both legs at the same time, a collar bone, an arm, etc... just not a good thing. I think he just liked to show off for another second grade teacher, who he ended up marrying.

FYI, I think they prefer the term "bullfighter".
