Just a simple speeding violation, but it doesn't say how much is the fine so they want me to show up in court. There's no way that I'm going to go to Savannah just for a speeding appearance.

First try calling the prosecutor and ask if they will amend the ticket to a non moving violation. If they do so, expect to pay about double what the normal fine is.

Yopu can call the violations bureu to see how much the fine is. I've nevr heard of calling the prosecutor to negotiate a lower penalty. It's usually done in person before the case at the couthouse.
