What are you getting your "significant other" for the Holidays?

Just curious as to what others are giving this year for Xmas, Chanukah, Kwanza, Holiday of your naming...small or large, expensive or not...just curious. May give ideas to others as well.

What will be most common? Jewelry? Vaccums? () Vacation?

A new kitchen (and bathroom, bedroom, family room , den, closets, etc...) We're adding 1000sq ft to our house, so Christmas will be smaller (in terms of presents, not the "important" stuff) this year since we're spending so much on the house.

A heavy-duty serger (a type of sewing machine used for finishing fabric edges), tons of music, some knick-knacks, and a weekend at a 5-star hotel.

My wife wants new racing seats for the 911, no really, she does.

She got her first taste of the track earlier this year at Buttonwillow and absolutely loved it! I picked up a cheap manual SC seat a couple years ago and redid the seat cushion to get more head room. It works ok for me, not that great, but it works. She hates it. So, it looks like we are going to go with Recaro SRD's for x-mas.

Yep, she's a keeper!

New wedding ring (had to cut the old one off for surgery). Maybe some silk pajamas, I don't know what else yet.

1) Purse from Coach to match her wallet
2) A decorative 4-place dish set
3) The Ernie And Bert Book (Golden Super Shape Book)

It's easy when she gives you a list....

She'd like a Ring, but knows that's not happening. We've discussed it, so she intellectually knows it's not happening, but probably still believes it might. It's not. Really.

I'd like to get her an Aprilia Mille R, but she doesn't know how to ride. I might get it anyway...

She's not into jewelry (which is fortunate, b/c I'm not into women that are), she's not a clotheshorse/fashion plate (BTDT, no more, thank you) so the "easy" gifts are out.

Maybe I'll give her a long weekend of "self-time" -- I should probably go about Vegas-distance away to make sure she doesn't feel claustrophobic and can really relax and unwind w/o me knocking about the apartment.

Well, I'll probably just take her to Ireland for a week in the Spring sometime. I should still have something to put under the tree, though.

LOL, fortunately the one she wanted was up at Costco for 100 bucks. I think they sold out within the day.

A free day at a spa. Seems like we have just about anything we need except time. I think time free from worries/duties for a day would be very welcome.

A new Tumi briefcase for work. Her's is shot. And Lindt chocolate!

Are we going to have this same thread in two weeks asking what we got? ;-) I told my wife that I want nothing this year since I bought the 911 back in September.
