According to the CEO of CVX...there are more known oil reserves now than there was 20 years ago...I also remember in the late 1960's the doom and gloom sayers that predicted that the world would run outa oil by the 1980's...

Sorry your theory this planet is full of unlimited oil don't hold up. There is less oil now than 20 years ago. The days of finding huge oil supplies is over, we found all the big ones. Now its just finding smaller pockets. Just watch the price of gas go up and up and up.

Thats really an intellignet observation.... The days of easy to get at oil are about over...but they know of more reserves than they did 20 years ago...they also have developed technology that can now retrieve that oil, which they couldn't have done 10 years ago...

With regards to oil as an energy source...China 10 years ago was an oil exporter, but with their rapid growth they are now a oil IMPORTER. With so many nations developing, they're need for oil is increasing, thus the amount of spare capacity is diminishing.

UFO I wonder what you would say about a Gore or Kerry Presidency...would you be as critical? To stay in the sprit of things you would have to take the position that anybody who is elected to the office of Presidnet has to be part of the conspiracy..or they wouldn't have been able to get into office in the first place...

There is talk of 'hope' to get this technology. Nothing yet is off drawing board and put into the field. This is needed to by us more time until it all runs out. Right now the technology to suck it out takes more energy than its worth in cost to get.

The price of gas in the US is climbing faster then ever and I have proven my point everytime you fill up your tank. Even the Saudis are nearly the brink of how much they can produce at these levels. 10 years from now they can't pump enuff oil to keep everybody happy.

I've hated every president since Reagan. They are all douche bags, Clinton, Gore, Bush, Carry. Nothing more than puppets put infront of us from a monopolistic 2 party system that produces a sht candidate for oil and drug companies.
