Vitriol is in adequate supply for all that wish to use it. One man's vitriol is another man's truth. It all depends on who is doing the defining; the more skewed the harder to compromise or admit to truth in another's position, like the difference between freedom fighter, patriot, and terrorist. All point of view.

It is getting harder to maintain an independent point of view in this country. You seem to anger just about everyone that way.

Intelligence of the average voter is not really an issue, as some European countries in the first half of the twentieth century will attest to. The best or most rational choice is not always the most popular one. Politics is a game of emotion, not logic.

Did any of you guys see VH1's 'My Best Years: When I Was a Dirty Hippy' show? Ann Coulter is a Dead-Head, says she's been to ~60 Dead shows. I couldnt believe it.

To a conservative, Ann Coulter represents real genius.

Actually, she's plenty smart, Coulter graduated with honors from Cornell and got a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. She was also an editor of The Michigan Law Review.

She is to the right what Al Franken, Molly Ivins and Maureen Dowd are to the left - only funnier and more brutal.

Yea, she's very thin (not Ally Mcbeal or Courtney Cox thin however). Maybe needs to mix in a cheese-burger, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Thay are obviously tongue-in-cheek. They are much less hateful than much of what I saw from the Michael Moore left in the last election. They only hurt because they are not so far from the truth.
