Is anyone here a rap fan? I'm sure there is rap music that does not fit this description. I know next to nothing about the music or its musicians. I do hear many folks crying that it is the end of civilization as we know it, but that was said about the music I grew up with, too. I have had the odd riced-out Civic or whatever stop next to me at a light every now and then, with profanity blaring from the stereo that would make a sailor blush. I always assumed that couldn't be representative of the whole genre, though. This article makes it sound like it might be.

Is there any rap that isn't about doing drugs, selling drugs, popping caps, b!tches and hoes, and the whole lifestyle?

So his minions of doom on foxnews that parrot his opinion are forced to side with this view in order to recieve the check.

So they pick on rap music which most is BS crap IMHO. But you'll never, ever hear them pick on country music, that validates #2. You'll never hear them pick on Heavy Metal which could be viewed at the white trash version of gangsta rap to some, that validates #1.
Since they hate black people they knock down Jesse Jackson or any other black leader they don't care for or ain't bending to the white mans NWO validating #3.

The FBI did the same thing in the 50s to black leader, trash them, defame or have them killed. GW is just a roll back to the 50s.

And FWIW, like every other genre of pop music, 90% is unoriginal disposable crap, and some of what remains is sheer genius. In fact, I'd say more genius than any other pop form. 99+% of white rock is worse than a beer fart, (Limp bizkut anyone?), and country, which used to be brilliant, is written for the "10-4 rubber ducky" crowd these days. Wrap a ***** log in the U.S. flag, then stand back and wait for the cash tsunami. :rolleyes:

And here is your free tip for the day: Listen to Outkast. The biggest selling, most award-laden hip-hop group last year, absolute genius, and no shoot-em-up or slap-em-down. (Well, hardly any). ;) Just a lot of pure wit and artistry. :cool:
