My Car on "Alias"
Not the pcar, but the Aston Martin...
I'm down at the "Alias" shooting location and the Director sees my car and asks me if I want to do a drive by in front of the camera. They're in LA, but its supposed to be a street front Paris cafe'. I said sure, someone else took a not very good picture with my camera. They may or may not use it, something about it being too loud (??) and drowning out the dialogue of the actors. We''ll see what happens. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1105671066.jpg |
That's a neat car; definitely something different.
|
very cool, let us know when it airs.
|
You car look great.
Did you see the next Prodrive racecar ? |
|
The DB4 is a great car. They are worth a bit now, at least over here.
|
Wow
Very cool Aston! I hadn't seen that before. |
no doubt! It's almost uh...Bond-ish :D
|
If you do end up having it used, let me know - my neighbor has had his beautifully restored 1970 el camino used on many shows - including "baywatch". They pay him a premium every time it's used, detail it, and return it to him full of gas. He can connect you with the right people that might be interested in using your car now that it has a "resume". . .

Nice Car.
Tell us about Jennifer Garner. |
Hugh... that is a beautiful car… wow.
I had the good fortune to have somewhat the opposite happen to me and my car. While I was working late one night a film crew set up in front of my building to shoot some scenes for the Jennifer Lopez / Dick Gere film, Shall We Dance. When I walked out the front door to go home I walked right into the middle of a shoot. I was quickly surrounded by all sorts of movie types and escorted out of the way. I was then asked to leave immediately as the set was a ‘closed set’. As my p-car was parked in an old carriage lane, just a few metres away I suggested we all wait things out as it can be.. ‘kinda loud’, I think were my exact words… no luck . … well it was loud, and they shut down the shoot, again, while I warmed her up and ceremoniously high revved myself off into the distance. I still can’t wipe the grin off my face (yes, childish, I know). |
the prodrive car reminded me of this pic......
beautiful though :) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1105710895.jpg |
For some reason I prefer the look of race cars when they dont have a lot of publicity on them.

Bell
That's too funny! But I do see the family resembalance. |

I've seen Hugh's car up close and it truly is one fine piece of engineering. total class. It really is amazing when you look under the hood and see the robustness of these engines.
BTW, Hugh, PM me. |
that DB4 is beautiful. The sound that emancipates from its 3.7L twin cam straight six is something like no other.
