Can a Guinea Pig Skydive?

The guinea pig survived, it was just a college joke... At most the guy should get some community service time and maybe a fine.

The worst thing that could have happened to the guinea pig is an instant death. I'm sure there are some guinea pigs that starve to death in "caring homes" all the time, at least this one wouldn't have suffered.

For the record, I had a black guinea pig named Smokey that some kid dropped down some stairs. Smokey didn't have the benefit of a parachute, and he died quickly.

You know the old tale that cats always land on their feet? It's quite true, at least in my case.

My cat, Macsek, was walking on the railing above the stairs, slipped and fell something like 10 feet. Landed on her feet and showed no signs of harm.

Then again, my cat was amazing. I saw her jump into a window from outside once - it was a good 7 foot vault.
