scottmandue 01-15-2005 11:00 AM

Please sign my petition to have Porsche give me a GT3...

:D

Topfuelwrench 01-15-2005 11:07 AM

Ebay is how i afford my Porsche project ! That is 8 % less I can spend at Pelican. Bill

scottmandue 01-15-2005 11:57 AM

No offence meant Bill, It's just that ebay is a private business and can charge whatever they want. This is like petitioning the banks to lower interest rates.

Doesn't the increased fee structure only apply to sellers w/ ebay stores?

Mark Wilson 01-15-2005 12:31 PM

Ebay always sucked a$$-

Half the stuff is unusable broken crap-

You rarely save any money.

Thank you, thank you very much.

scottmandue 01-15-2005 12:37 PM

NO WAY!

I want a blue one...

on-ramp 01-15-2005 12:39 PM

yes, the brunt of the fees apply to stores (ie. 9.95/month basic package to 16.95/month)

It's also about a 3% increase in Final Value Fees for store listings only..

if you dont have a store, dont worry too much, the increased fees are negligible.
If you're like me and have a store, then worry. I stopped taking Paypal on expensive items. Money orders or Cashier's check only, please.
some sellers will increase prices to compensate for new fees, that's not good for buyers, it's better to find other areas to cut costs.

if you don't like it, come up with a better solution.

Free enterprise and all that....

private? aren't they one of the most publicly traded companies in the world?

Topfuelwrench 01-15-2005 01:33 PM

You all are right , Ebay is a private business and they have the right to do what they want, I guess I just have to whine about stuff that effects me and others.

Ok I will take a black GT3.

Thanks for all your support (ha ha) Bill
