Seller gets busted using a second user name, then asks God's help to get an M491. I have never before seen such a manipulative pantload. |

Not so much funny as sad Mark. there's too much of this stuff going on these days including someone posting an item for a great price, someone agreeing to purchase with a reply to the thread and days later you find out that after the fact, PMs with higher offers were sent and agreed to.
-creak- Another example is a newbie posting a set of 7x9x16s asking for offers and what's the first offer? $500. and the list goes on. ![]() -creak--creak- of course there are a lot of good things too, I've seen many parts sent for free, etc. there are definitely good guys on the board. I'm an idealistic optimist in life, and I'd really like to think that the community we've built is just that, one in which respect for each other precludes our natural inclination for getting something for nothing, or making a buck of the other guy. BTW, that creaking you hear is my soap box, it's gotten pretty worn out these days, time to step down.

Maybe I'm missing something, but his story and apology seemed sincere. I would just let it go.

Nothing about that guy is sincere. He's been running a parts/car business for quite a while. Not sure why he hasn't been stopped.
