2-Time Dakar Winner Killed

Two-time Dakar winner Fabrizio Meoni was killed this morning in a stage.

What a terrible tragedy. Another rider Jose Manuel Perez was killed earlier that day. I have been following the event on OLN, but the broeadcast is about 2 weeks behind. Every time they would interview Meoni it would send a chill up my spine because I knew that he would not make it. It was like watching a condemed man. It's a tragic loss to the sport.
