Million Dollar Baby
Just saw this picture with the Mrs. last night. I have to say that this film was one of the better movies I have seen in the last couple of years. I would have to say it was a well disguised chick flick/sports movie. Dirty Harry really did a great job both in front of and behind the camera. The boxing scenes were well shot and appeared quite realistic for staged scenes. Hillary Swank did a hell of a job learning some boxing basics (was even pretty good on the speed bag). Morgan Freeman, as usual, played an excellent part as the boxing gym resident sage. All in all, I highly recommend this movie (and take the Mrs., she will really appreciate it). If you leave without being at least a little touched, you probably have not experienced a loved one in terrible pain.
