Auburn Hills, MI job opportunity ...
Don't know how many automotive engineers are here, but I thought I'd ask and see if anyone is interested.
The powertrain engineering company I'm with has an opportunity to supply DaimlerChrysler with powertrain engineering staff (20+ positions) for two new engine development programs. The work is on-site at the Chrysler Tech Center (CTC) in Auburn Hills, MI. BSME minimum is required - your resume will speak for your experiece level. We're looking for Product Release Engineers with experience who specialize in or span multiple segments of powertrain design/development. Segments include base engine block, cylinder head, intake manifold, front covers, valvetrain covers, camshaft, valvetrain (conventional and variable timing), crankshaft and rods, piston, lubrication, cooling, and assembly manufacturing and tolerance analysis. A Product Release Engineer is responsible for the base design, evaluation, procurement, testing, and production release of their particular component(s). Normally they have designers working for them and work with component suppliers and corporate purchasing to get into production. If you're seriously interested in such a position, please e-mail me at racer6692@yahoo.com along with an updated resume and I'll be sure to get it into the proper hands for review. Thanks ...
