*Chopped in half....quite a crash!
|
Yeah, the bodies are particularly amusing:rolleyes:
I think there was a thread on this before explaining the circumstances. |
Bodies. Where?
|
Under the white tarps...
|
Airbag recall!
|
What Art said. Under the tarps. The white vehicle with the red stripe is a medevac with nowhere to go.
|
Oh My Gosh! Its the Audi A3 Turbodiesel....again. Have you ever notices how some websites are very aptly named? Take "Uselessjunk.com" for example.

This was posted a while ago. BeepBeep added a link where the details were translated:
"Two men, of 27 and 21 years, died yesterday after a long suffering accident when they tried to over pass cars, on a forest road, in Maceda, Ovar. The accident only involved the victims of the vehicle. The accident occurred about 7h30, close to a Portuguese Air Force Base in that region. "When we arrived to the location there was nothing we could do because the victims did not have vital signs. The impact would have been, probably, very violent due to the state of the car", informed the Firemen of Esmoriz. After the investigation, the bodies were transported by the firemen to the morgue of the Hospital of Saint Maria from the Fair. " http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=123&t=192874 |
At least they didn't hurt anyone else in the process!
|
Would that be 90 KPH or MPH stuck on the spedo?
|
here's chopped in half.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1107741518.jpg and the obligatory body too. |
The final reading of the speedometer is meaningless; why do people think it's some sort of snapshot in time?

I think the same thing every time I read those asinine comments, but I figure that it's a waste of typing to explain. These people actually think that a car's speedometer is like the black box on a jetliner or something. :D |
Especially when the car impacted the tree with its door. The wheels may (or may not) have been going around at 90kmph, but they were not indicative of the velocity of the vehicle at that time.
That being said, some interesting information can be retreived from the engine/transmission/traction control modules these days. Les |
