Do you want to see something nuts?

There is really nothing I can say about this to describe it better than the woman who dreamed it up. If you think Porsche building/fixing is a sickness, this is far worse...

The reviews are in...

"I'm pretty sure this is sick."
--jpoulos, Metafilter

"disturbingly impressive."
--sixtwenty3dc, Metafilter

"This is one of those people that I'm very happy to have seen on the web, but are too scary to meet in real life."

WOW! If you just saw this in a mall you would be impressed beyond words - this gets creepy becuase she actually has persona developed in the figuers. The line between genius and insanity has become even more obscured.

That is one important *******!

chuckw951 02-03-2005 10:25 AM

There are more projects at the index. The office building is pretty amazing.

Legos are not cheap. What do you think, she must have $15K wrapped up in legos...

It's nuts... but, all 'art' is pretty nuts. Just think, if she smears the thing with poo or puts it in a jar of urine, she can get a government grant for it.

Everyone's got to have a hobby! Polishing Fuchs or building Lego stuff, it's all the same...

hoff944 02-03-2005 01:55 PM

She has the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

Overpaid Slacker 02-03-2005 01:57 PM

Wow -- she totally captured the blank stares of the audience that I remember vividly from my church-going days!

Seriously, tho' -- impressive. I love Legos. In my dotage, I might skip the model railroad hobby and build Lego crap.

A friend of mine gave my son a huge box of Lego Mindstorms and he loves them. Anyone else here ever play with Mindstorms?
