Video of worst weatherman ever.

Gotta give the guy credit though, it was sooo painful to watch but he stuck through the whole report.

That looks like a college communications class. Painful, nonetheless...
Very painful.

I remember my first weather cast on the radio, it sucked, bad. The day they decided to turn me loose just happened to be the day we got seven tornado warnings in the listening area, so it was total pandemonium. I did alright through the first few tornados, but eventually I had to get someone more experienced to take over. It was getting crazy.

I feel sorry for the guy, a little, but it's still pretty funny.

thats gotta be a fake. the director would have pulled the plug on that long before he danced around in front of the national map. i have heard heartland local news casts can be funny, but thats a just too dam bad.

i am forwarding it to my uncle, he is a cameraman for a bay area local news cast. he will love that.

gotta be Ohio University internal channel or comm class in Athens Ohio.

speeder 02-03-2005 02:58 PM

No, that cannot be real in the sense that this guy was hired for on-camera work. It is a fairly competitive field, even in the regional markets, (this was my major in college at one time), you could pull any random bum off of the street and he would do a better job than this. Not sure what this is, a joke maybe? Pretty well disguised if it is though, since it's not really that funny.

That was painful.

I'd have to agree that this is either a spoof or a local campus media class project. The female "newscasters" were just to amateurish in addition to the poor idiot weatherman. As previously mentioned, this career field is just too competitive for the likes of these three posers.

He could actually get a ratings bump for a maverick channel - people would tune in to see just how pathetic it can be.

cstreit 02-03-2005 09:00 PM

Yeah the two female (experienced) anchors were fake-like... Still amusing to watch though... I speak to audiences every week, made me cringe.

red-beard 02-04-2005 03:30 AM

Who else liked the russian news program where they shed clothes as they talked through a story?

SLO-BOB 02-04-2005 04:58 PM

LMAO! Maybe I'm a sadist, but that is some funny *****. I was a comm major and I never saw anyone bomb that bad. That is certainly a class excercise as it is the University of Ohio station. Whether it actually aired is questionable.

Frankly, I could watch that guy all day long. The two simps I could live without though. "Golly Jerry, who'd a thought that snow forcast would come true." http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/a_pukey.gif

red: I've seen that bare it all news - for the life of me I never remember what they said!

Only thing better would be to get opposing political veiwpoints and have the two girl newscasters get into a tickle fight over their ideas! Throw in some Funyons and a 6 of Coors lite, now your talking entertainment...

jbripps 02-05-2005 06:50 AM

Yeah, I agree, that's gotta be a class exercise. The middle girl is just awful also.
