frequent washes, preferably with little or no soap - never let the car get too dirty, terrycloth towel drying -occasional clay bar, 3M imperial glaze and The Wax Shop liquid wax.

-nothing else.

Zymol paste wax not the cheapest but the best I have used so far. I used to only use Maguires but the Zymol does not streak or make a powdery mess like some others

Well, not exclusively. I often check to see if WAL-MART carries something less expensive. I save the Turtle Wax for concours events...

I don't think you will be sorry if you try Klasse All in One. (edit - this isn't exactly a wax though) You may want to get it polished before you put on the AIO and there are lots of different toppers to put over it.

Using a waffle weave microfiber to dry your car is light years ahead of terry or chamois.

3M Show Car Polish. No soap ever, just rinse, wax every month or so during the driving season.

Wash with Zymol car wash, polish with Meguiars #9 or 3M pink, wax with Zymol or Meguiars #26. Wheels and front bumper RejeX. Touch up with Meguiars spray (I forget the actual name) or Zymol.

Zymol... no competition

of course Turtle wax is very good as well.

anything apart from auto-glyms which is just short abrasive than 1800 wet/dry !

I rarely wax my car. After a wash I go over it with Meguires Final Inspection detailing spray. Mind you the 911 is never in foul weather. If it was I'd wax it regularly.

If I do wax I use Meguires #26 pure yellow carnuba.

FWIW, detailing spray is used in much higher volume than wax .

Zymol. After owning two black cars, it was the only wax I could find that didn't leave swirl marks.
