Very cool! Thanks for sharing!!

Hugh,

Thank you for the photos. What do you do on set again?

mikester 02-07-2005 06:18 PM

If I'm not mistaken for the first flick filming of the mountains in the background was of St. Lucia's 2 peaks...the wife and I honeymooned there. Nice place too...

Cool pix. $80K to remove coconuts? Do you have to use union guys to remove them? Seems as if you could spread some money into the local community and have them pick them for you. We want pictures of Kiera (sp?). Will she be in the sequels?

Very cool, Hugh. Can't wait to see more behind- the-scenes stuff.
I'll have to hook my daughter up with this thread too. I'm sure she'll find it very interesting.

That is AWESOME! I envy you!

Screw the locals. I'll come down and do it for 60K.

That bar looks like one I was in when motoring through West Va except that one had wheels still on it!

Wait a sec . .. I thought those trees were to be made of Styrofoam & papier-mâché. . . .by union workers in CA. (?)

http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/shake.gif using Real trees, augmented for a mere $80k? . . what kind of a cheapskate set-director is running the show? ;)

Seriously, you are having way too much fun.

Is Keith Richards gona play Captain Jacks Pirate Father?

smoak 02-08-2005 09:52 AM

Didn't Depp say that Keith Richards was an inspiration for his Captain Jack? Nice call Tabs.

Hugh, nice freakin job.

Hugh, don't write off those little roadside bars. Try a little soursop with gin. Fantastic. Avoid the homemade rum and never, ever eat a roti. (Don't even ask).

I loved Pirates of the Caribbean. Fantastic adventure. Can't wait for the sequels.

Hugh,

That is awesome. Did you finish working on the Herbie remake with all the classic VWs?

Chris

Hire me.

I have an outstanding aptitude at making things.

I'm fairly entertaining to be around sober or drunk.

I want to use my creativity and imagination.

You don't have to pay me much to beat my gov't salary.

I already have a Top Secret SSBI 001B clearance

I know explosives.

What else do you need?

Leland Pate 02-08-2005 05:27 PM

Seriously, looks like you have one of the best jobs on the planet.

Congrats
