Pilotless aircraft - the future?

Weird but cool stuff in the pipeline.

..............and cool boats too - talk about a big gun on a little boat.

Would you want to fly in one? Especially one using MicroSoft software in the computers??? What happens when it needs to be rebooted?

Thanks but no thanks. I live in a cockpit and have seen some very interesting things happen up there. You need a brain (or two), several thousand hours of experience (10,000+ is better) and a lot of good luck at times.

Computer is not going to be able to do that...

I would not fit, they (the links) are pictures of military spy drones - the really weird one is launched from a sub. All seem to be stealth based.

Note/Edit: I've read that the F-22 and JSF (joint strike fighter) might be the last two military planes with pilots. Hard to believe.

Definatly the future, and the future is soon.
Unmanned (human cost), cheaper to operate and to transport to "hot spots" ($$ cost). Add stealth tech. and you've got an undetectable killing machine than you can run from an air conditioned trailer.
