Ever "eBay Stalk"?
I don't know what else you would call it. What I'm talking about is when you're selling something and you look at all the prior transactions for the bidder. Not for the meaningless feedback (A+++++, Great Ebayer!), but for what these people bought from others.
I am selling off a bunch of odd junk my Dad accumulated over the years. One item was this Witch Ball - a glass globe that is supposed to ward off witches. Anyhow, this person big so I read their prior purchases. In the past 3 months, hundreds of dollars on occult stuff like a weried Crucifix with a skull and crossbones, poison jars, other witchcraft stuff, yard art of big metal bugs and California Raisins figurines. ![]() It makes no sense, but it sure is fun.

When I'm bidding against someone I check out what they buy...also to see if there is a relationship between the seller and bidder...
Then there are a couple of people I used to keep track of what they were bidding on....
