Non porsche brake question, help before I kill this car!
I'm attempting to change the rear pads on a 2001 VW Passat, I've had this car for a few months and I am beginning to despise it.
I have the caliper out and am turning the "Cylinder?" Clockwise to make room for the new pads. It isn't moving. I have turned it and turned and turned and they aren't going anywhere. Is there a trick? HELP! thanks

Not sure about "Turning" but you need to get a big C clamp and shove the pistons back in the caliper so the new pads will fit, if you haven't already done so.

thanks Hugh. I got it figured out. These new cars need to be turned. I just had to press real hard while I was turning. C clamp is old school. I much prefer old school
