Good show? For me it was a bunch of these.. ...followed by plugging this... ...into this... This is what gets me through a long winter with no hockey/Porsche. Only problem is the tinitis I'll be having the next few days(i need a power brake or plexi-wall or something). The beer makes me do it.

"The beer makes me do it." Beer'll do that !!! -------------------------------- Yeah, GREAT show ! I don't get too many nights like that anymore, you know, older, wiser, more responsible...................... o.k. well, older anyhow............... I used to go to shows like that nearly everyweekend. Sometimes twice a week. Now, I'm lucky if it's once or twice a year, and I'm WAY more picky about who it is... In the past 2 years, I've seen MOTORHEAD (who I would go see ANYTIME !), Iron Maiden (who I'd never seen before and wanted to see the "show") and now Social D.

i dont have my ticket stub, but i just saw "well". it is a single woman monologe performance with backup actors. the first 15 minutes, i was gonna throw myself from the cheap seats section. thank goodness, it got better. tomorrow is giselle. yup, the ballet. i hope the chicks are hot. eff it if i am not renting alien vs. predator as girlfriend revenge. at least she is taking me out for prime rib (house of prime rib) prior.

Social Distortion? Brings me back to my High School days, good stuff ...but you ain't seen nuthin' untill you've been to a Gwar concert and then showed up for work in your hoity-toity office building in your suit with pink and yellow stains in your hair from the fake blood and pee being sprayed into the audience. Ahhh they good old days

"an all weather event". If I recall, Bogarts is on Vine and is inside. What are they saying, if the roof blows off and there's a blizzard, the show must go on? I miss that place, just not the neighborhood.

They played "Ring of Fire" last night too, KICKED A$$ !!!! AWESOME VERSION !!! I know what you guys are saying about reminding about High School and College day... We use to spend our weekend nights usualy between Bogarts, in Cincy and The Jockey Club, in Newport, KY (Most people ANYWHERE knew of The Jockey Club before it closed down, kinda wierd) I think it was about 18 years ago I did my first stage dive at a Suicidal Tendencies concert..... If the guys I work with now knew what my old weekends used to be like..... They'd be in shock!!!

This is gross, but a friend recently told me about a band that got ahold of several deer capes. That is, hunters killed some deer, took the capes off and these band members got the capes. They noticed how gross the capes looked on the inside (the non-fur side) and they wore those capes during a performance, inside-out. So the audience would see the ugly side of the capes. Well, the band members all came down with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever from all the deer tick bites they suffered.

Waaaaay different time now, but how oddly kharmic is this discussion - got tix for the Keller Williams concert next week at Bogarts. Last time I was at Bogarts was to see Living Color back in the 80's.

Crazy!! I ve been buying all the oldies as they are now. Agent Orange, Black Flag etc... I too was a Circle Jerk, X , Bad Manners follower in the SF Bay Area. Good times in the late 80's and early 90's. It is alot of fun to listen to the tunes now and think about what I was up to then. Rock On!
