Paris Hilton's T-Mobile Address book got hacked

This is likely due to T-Mobile being lax on security. I know I submitted two and a half years ago (maybe longer, it's been a long time) a bug to them and sprint about a voicemail hack I stumbled upon that allowed me access to people's vmail's without entering a code... Sprint fixed the problem serious fast for a carrier, and tmobile ignored it. To this day they still have the bug.

And now for the good stuff:

This has been in public circulation since last night, but apparently privately for a bit longer. There was a site that had a collection of prank calls to people on the list. It's down but I'm mirroring a mirror of it and will provde links later on... stay tuned...

EDIT: Here's the link to the Prank Calls.

ENJOY! I can't listen while I'm at work ... So if someone could summarize that'd rule. :)

Crap, that must be why I'm getting so many prank calls lately. I told her to keep my number secret, damn.

Funny how all the prank calls are suppose to be to American fans of Paris, but the few I listened to seem to have a person on the other side..with an accent!

Really not suprising...

There was a looong article in Wired magazine a few months back about how wide-open most Blue-Tooth mobile devices are. A quick scan revealed about 20% of the phones in a typical airport are exposed to having their phone hacked.

Its called "BlueSnarfing" and is getting to be a problem.

I think it was the online PIM that was hacked though, not the actual handset. . . If the first link is still working it shows her contacts all in the online PIM...

Hilarious! Eminem is my personal favorite call. Who would have known Eminem was in her phone book.

djmcmath 02-21-2005 05:39 PM

And who would ever have even the remotest desire to call Eminem?

I am not vouching for this site. But here are the photos I found:

Due to some of the photos I did not notice on first glance, I am self editing before I catch the rath-smoak

Ahh yes, after further "research" it appears that it was actually the T-Mobile website that was hacked, not the device...

...however I got to say "Bluesnarfing" so I'm content with my previous post. :D

Rumor is that she had some ehancement(s) performed recently.

I saw those pics...I just dont dig that beak of hers...

Like Dennis Miller stated, she is dumb as dirt, no glory in debating a bim...

In general, God Bless the "Dupont Chemical Corporation"
