New Oils from Mobil
Hope this isn't a repost, but I've noticed some TV commercials for new motor oils from Mobil that claim to go to 5,000, 7,500, and even 15,000 miles between changes. Anyone used these?

They are finally catching up to 1980 technology. When oils account for 1% of your companies rev stream, how much attention do you think they will afford it? The bare min - they do it because if they got out of it consumers would wonder why. Its about branding - it's really to bad, I know some of their product development engineers - smart guys and would love the chance to use some cutting edge technology, price points and a weak distribution network hold them back (like what happens to most if not all majors).
