Damn Cliff, I just wanted to borrow the wrench for the turbo tie rod swap.......didn't even think it WAS power ;)
For me, I loan everything to a FRIEND, nothing to anybody less. The good news is that I make friends easy enough, so if you need something, chances are you'll be able to borrow it. Hey Toby, my mower needs a new blade, want to borrow it??? :) -Chris |
The little howeowner saws can be more dangerous than a profession size saw because the little ones are so light that they can kick back easier/faster. I loan out a lot of tools (and guns for that matter) but if I had a chainsaw I'd be hesitant to loan that out for liability reasons.

Swedish. German. It's all the same.
:D |
Chainsaws...more things can go wrong with a chainsaw than a bad divorce.
I cut a fairly large amount of wood every year (with a pole chainsaw and an old Stil) and I look like Robo Cop when I'm cutting: protective chaps, gloves, steel-toed shoes and a full face mask. It was that one close call that got my mind right! |
I have exactly one friend that I would loan anything I have.
Other than him the answer depends on who is asking for what. Growing up my Mom's best friend was a nurse at the local hospital ER. She would always say to stay away from chainsaws and motorcycles. I'm 0 for 2....but still have all my limbs and most of my brains (for very different reasons). |
