I watched it - pretty neat. I have witnessed "power sander" racing which is similar - a cheapo KMart "brand" sander in black n decker bright orange took first place!

Stripped down "Junkyard Wars" (Kathy was neat). I really used to like that program and "Robot Wars" as well. And who can forget "BattleBots"?

I saw this first-hand in a little road side bar outside of Milwaukee, Wis about 15 years ago. It was Jan or feb and obviously very cold. There were a lot of construction guys drinking and bragging about their ....'tools'

Sure enough there was a make shift 'drag-track' on a bar top in the corner. And sure enough.........they raced belt sanders (and bet $$ on da winna!)!! It was the funniest sh-t I had seen in a long time. I just figured it all started there in 'ol Wisconsin.
