Canadian Exchange rates, just made a quick $600:)

A company in Canada is buying one of our machines and I just got thier cheque in Canadian Dollars. Weell by the time it got here I had made $600 on the exchange rate. Makes ya think, I mean if it had gone the other way I'de be pissed.

Off to the bank now to lock it in. I've never deposited a foreign currency check before, anything I should be prepared for? Do they lock it a current rates or wait till it clears to lock the exchage?

Just wait until your bank charges you to do the currency exchange! You'll be wishing you had required that they pay you in U.S. funds...
