Why Artic oil? Because federal leases have the cheapest royalty rate on the planet. Because once they get in (under Bush II) they're in. Because they'll never get thrown out even if there is an accident. Because they may never get a better chance - once GW is finished with the economy. Oil prices have never been higher and are just going up more - can anyone say $4.00 per gallon by 2007? It's already $3.00 gallon (premium) in parts of LA. Oil company profits are in the "technology growth" range. Enormous. Bigger than anytime in history.

Why Artic oil? I have some questions, too:

When does man stop?
When does man start something new?
What part of the earth should not feel the footstep of man?

jsdski- yup it was wierd. From the brainyencyclopedia page:
"How to make Biodiesel
This page has been listed on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion. Please see its entry on that page; for justifications and discussion. If you don't want the page deleted, please read the deletion guidelines and vote against its deletion there; please do not remove this notice while the question is being considered"

I guess it was recently taken off deletion. I'll try and find and copy the referal page address that wikipedia auto-transfered me to last time I browsed. It had an official sounding government 9-11 commision title.
Almost resonable at first. Then when one considers the protest petition by many of the leading scientists on how the Bush crew was trying to bully them into changing findings related to evolution along with the long list of other "gray area" behavior....
