Yes, this through me for a loop. I surely thought he'd be found guilty.

A lawyer I know once told me that Guilt or Innocence in a criminal trail has nothing to do with whether you did it, or not.

True !! You have to be able to PROVE it. Remember O.J.?

Well Scott Peterson got the death penalty officially today. You can't have two guiltys on the same day, the law has to be balanced. :D But all kidding aside, that is why we have juries to make the best decision based on the evidence and hopefully the right verdict prevailed based on all the evidence.

Good for him, guilty or not. From what I have heard about the deceased the world is a better place without her.

Judging by the verdict it appears a jury of 12 people felt the same way.

I'm about a mile from the Van Nuys Courthouse and the helicopters have been circling since the verdict was announced. I suspect all the money grubbing gold digging pigs in the valley are rioting and crying out for justice!
No Justice No Piece, No Justice No Piece.

O.J. and Beretta have something in common.

I saw Robert "Baretta" Blake on the Tonight show when he was still saying.."If you can't do the time, don't do the crime." His comment to Johnny about his divorce from his first wife was, "That he was practicing semen retention.".... I guess he forgot his maxmum....now I'll bet he won't forget it again....

The perfect cap on this will be if Jacko get off Scot free.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

360, YOU are a trip!

The "death penalty" is okay, only so long as it's not the government handing it out. http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/clap.gif

Given out by a private citizen al a-okay in YOUR book, eh?

I'm not making a statement on Blake's guilt or innocence, I haven't followed that case.

I don't think it's all that difficult for a reasonably intelligent person to get away with murder. Of course I'm sure Robert Blake is completely innocent.

island911 03-16-2005 04:38 PM

the last I checked, the idea was one had to have proof BEYOND a reasonable doubt.

Does anyone think that Blake or OJ are some huge threat to society?

speeder 03-16-2005 04:44 PM

What are the chances that Blake is really innocent? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1111023884.jpg

speeder 03-16-2005 04:47 PM

I actually just heard on the news that wife killing has been declared legal in CA., w/ certain extenuating circumstances of course, ie. you are a celeb, she was busting your balls, nobody saw it happen, etc....

Not if you're with the Taliban.

Not unless you plan on marrying them.

Sonic dB 03-16-2005 05:38 PM

Phil Spector is next....anyone think he is going to walk?

on-ramp 03-16-2005 05:42 PM

Blake was more guilty than Scott Peterson.

So the answer that was already supplied to your question a few days ago is . . .

YES
