I guess you could always volunteer to help out at this years Pea-Raid...here's a slightly edited (to protect the guilty) cover letter to volunteers...volunteers asked to pay for the honor.
In a message dated 03/24/2005 10:48:04 AM Eastern Standard Time, ************** writes: Good Day, All. Attached you will find the "Volunteer Only" registration form. This form is for those individuals who are not official Parade registrants, but would like to help out at one or more of the events. The $30 entry fee will provide you with a name badge which will give you access to the Goodie Store, Hospitality, and the Museum. You may also attend the main events as spectators. You may purchase Concours Lunch tickets. No additional meals are available at this time. You can check the "For Sale" board in Hospitality for meal tickets once you arrive at Parade. If you have an interest in supporting a particular event, I encourage you to contact the event chair and let them know that you are a Volunteer Only and would like to help out. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. **** *** ***** ******** Volunteer Co-Chairs

Rick,
Part of your PCA dues goes to the local organization. Drop them an email asking why its not out on a timely manner and if its not improved then when you renew ask that the funds not be given to the local group. If they are not doing their job then let them know. JoeA

It's part of the secret code.
The e-mails from Jim Singler are more timely...
