Underwear that promotes chastity

URL: http://drunkreport.com/reports/virginclothes.htm

Quote:
WaitWear is currently rolling into more and more retail stores, and Thomas is determined that the company will do a little more than $2 million in sales this year — up from a mere $4,000 in 2004.

But can panties and T-shirts really help a person wait for marriage? And isn't the whole point of wearing underwear with slogans on it to have it be seen?

Ashley Littlefield, 20, a junior at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana — where sex is prohibited by the student code of conduct — sees some hypocrisy in anti-sex skivvies

"The underwear line is the most illogical part of the whole [WaitWear Web] site. Shouldn't it read: 'If You Can Read This, I'm Probably Not Waiting Until Marriage?'" she said.

Who the F would want to go to Notre Dame, then??

I'd laugh if they're required uniform. If so, those panties really should read "Go back to your dorm and polish out one for the Gipper!"

Girl walks into exclusive lingere shop.

"I would like some silk panties, and I want them to be monogrammed."

The clerk says: "No problem, miss, what would you like them to say?"

The girl responds: "If you can read this, you are too close."

Regaining her composure, the clerk responds: "Very well. Would you like that in block print or in script?"

"Braille."

What clown thought that one up and who voted for it?
How many hypocrites pretend to agree with it?

At a local religious private school here, Westmont, they have rules like if a guy was in a girls' dorm room, the door cannot be fully closed and she had to have one foot on the ground at all times... huh???

All this "prevention" and "sheltering" stuff to deal wtih problems of sex, drugs and rock & roll just doesn't deal with the real issues. At some point, people are going to have to learn about that stuff and take responsibility to manage it in their lives.

There's a school near my alma mater that has the same rule. I heard stories of couples goin' at it behind the partially open door standing up.

Crazy mormons! Talk about fostering creativity.

But does it use SSL, and if so, do they use a trusted CA, or do they 'self-sign'?

We won't even get into tunnelling...

Or phishing attacks...

Yeah, shielding kids from reality does nothing but delays development and learning to deal with real life. The kids ends up 10 years or more behind their peers emotionally when dealing with life issues because their parents have sheltered them for so long.

My freshman year at UCBS, I was introduced to the "Nunnery" as the all-girls top floor of the Francisco Torres dorm was known. This was where all the religious freaks put their kids, thinking they'd be "safe" ... HAH!!! Those girls were the easiest sluts on campus. Any time you wanted any kinky action without effort, you'd just head up to the Nunnery... heh, heh...

On a more somber note, of all the suicides that happened from depressed girls jumping off the 10th floor, they were all from the Nunnery as well...
