OT Toyota 4x4

I recently bought an '88 Toyota 4x4 pickup for a beater. Anyone here know of good web sites? Sorry for the OT intrusion.

If your skin is really thick, you can try out the pirate4x4.com site. Their forums are pretty harsh, but there is alot of good info.

I've owned (and extensively modified) an '83, '84 and an '87 4WD Toyota. Great vehicles.

theres also 4x4wire: http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?Cat=&C=10

This site is for great custom parts and various writeups with cheap tricks and how-to's. The guy that owns it is really nice and is always willing to help: http://www.4crawler.com/4Runner.shtml

Yotatech would be your best bet for finding good info on an IFS rig. If post anything about IFS on pirate you will get 20 replys telling you to do an SAS.

If you are thinking of changing axles, lockers, etc go to pirate. My son has done three swaps so far. The last was on his 94 pickup. Looks very clean.

Thanks guys, I will try those sites. I'm not really into modifying it. I just bought it for landscaping, and hauling dead deer and fish. Just looking for maintainance type info. Thanks for the replies.
