Banal question about blocking email domains
My hotmail account allows blocking of domain names. This has worked well until recently. Am I wasting my time blocking email domains that "appear" to be randomly generated? Is this what's happening? Or, how can I block domains that begin with "mdm", "dqmx", etc?
I'm unable to cut and paste the domains in my block list, so I wrote a few down that illustrate the randomness of the domain names: mxdq06.net mdm01.org mdm02.org mdm03.org mdm45.org mdm46.org mdm47.org dqmx02.biz dqmx02.org dqmx02.com dqmx02.net Strange how the spam has picked up in the last week. TIA, Bob |
It's probably a waste of time, as they're probably not valid domains or they're forged.
