I've *heard* that not all mishaps are picked up by carfax, so I'd suggest a very good bodyshop look a car over as well.

And Carfax lists my 911 as having accurate mileage and no issues with the odometer reading, my title plainly states the odometer reading is inaccurate/odometer inoperative. Grain of Salt.

Very true, but it is at least a reference. I had the same proble with one of my cars, it came back clean, but I know that it wasn't (don't worry, it is one of my keepers, I love it too much )
BTW, can someone run a carfax on a car I'm thing about buying?
