I think it was Time who shot the photo of Newt Gingrich from the chest up and backlit it so that his facial pores came through like little black holes. This made the man look demonic. I'm surprised he okay'd it, as I am with AC in this photo. If AC did okay it, either she doesn't have any taste (which I doubt), or the joke's really on Time and its readers - which would be funny.
